CALIFORNIA -- A man allegedly sicced his pit bull on his mother and brother, who were taken to a hospital with dog-bite wounds Saturday, sheriff’s officials said.
Mother and son went to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at about 1:40 p.m. and reported that they were attacked by a pit bull intentionally set upon them by the mother’s other son, Lt. Rob Hahnlein said.
Fire paramedics responded and transported the victims to a hospital, where they were treated and released, he said.
Information provided by the victims led deputies to the Santa Clara River bed, where they arrested the other son and his girlfriend, Hahnlein said.
The pair, whose names were not released, were booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, said Hahnlein.
