Midwest City police were called to Willow Creek Apartments on July 11 by the apartment manager who said a maintenance man had found the dogs in Harrison's old apartment.
According to police, Harrison moved out after a neighboring unit caught fire and power was cut his residence.
They thought the smaller pit bull was dead until it looked at them and wagged its tail |
On Monday, the younger of the two dogs had to be euthanized due to his injuries.
