SOUTH CAROLINA -- Officials arrested a Charleston man Monday after he allegedly poisoned his neighbor's dog with antifreeze.
Thomas Walker, 29, had previously complained about the dog's barking, The Post and Courier reports.
Walker's neighbor told officials the animal began vomiting on Sunday and died Monday after being euthanized by a veterinarian. An investigation discovered likely poisoning from ethylene glycol, a substance found in antifreeze.
While the suspect first denied any involvement, he later confessed to pouring the substance over his neighbor's fence, according to The Post and Courier.
Officials charged Walker with animal cruelty.
