Cops: Suspected Seneca County pot dealer charged with animal cruelty

NEW YORK -- A Seneca County man suspected of selling marijuana is also facing animal cruelty charges after multiple police agencies searched a home on Auburn Road.

23-year-old Kyle Craig was charged with criminal sale of marijuana and cruelty to animals, both misdemeanors.

In addition, 33-year-old Bobbie Rowland was charged with cruelty to animals.

  

According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators found four dogs suffering from multiple ailments when they searched the home in Seneca Falls on Oct. 15.

The dogs were taken to Beverly Animal Shelter and received treatment from Cornell University veterinarians.

Craig and Rowland were both taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

They are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10.
