A woman suffered serious injuries when she was attacked by a pit bull type of dog in Eastbourne, the Eastbourne Herald reports.
A man who came to her aid was also attacked and is being treated by paramedics.
The incident is said to have happened at around 4pm as the female victim made a delivery in St Aubyn’s Road.
A vet is also at the scene along with the police and other emergency services. Traffic is currently being diverted away from the area.
