UNITED KINGDOM -- A man and woman, who allegedly failed to provide care to a dog with a tumor, had their case continued at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Charles Farquharson, 37, and Carol McKay, 48, both of Clifden Blue Court, were both charged with maltreatment of a seven-year-old female Collie, called Patch.
They are charged with causing Patch unnecessary suffering while being responsible for the animal, by failing to provide sufficient and adequate food, failing to provide treatment for a flea infestation and failing to provide veterinary treatment and pain relief for a tumor from which Patch was suffering, between May 1 and June 9, at their home address.
The case was continued without plea until November 21.
