Dog Attack Suspected in Rockingham Co. Death

NORTH CAROLINA -- Rockingham County authorities are investigating whether a man visiting from Mexico died from a dog attack.

Jose Robles, 62, disappeared after going for a walk in September. He was found dead the next day at the bottom of a steep embankment.

The News and Record reports Robles' clothes were ripped off and that he had numerous bite marks on his body.

More than a dozen dogs were found not far from where he died. The dogs are being held at the Rockingham County Animal Shelter.
