TEXAS -- A man may lose his leg after he was attacked by a pair of pit bulls, Harris County sheriff's officials said on Wednesday.
The 59-year-old man was attacked about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Manatee Lane in north Harris County.
After paramedics arrived at the scene, the man was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital. Sheriff's official later said he was in stable condition although his leg may have to be amputated from the attack.
Harris County animal control workers took custody of the two dogs. The name of the owner wasn't known.
