Deputies Investigating Animal Cruelty Case After Cat Shot, Killed

NORTH CAROLINA -- Investigators with the Rockingham County Sheriff's office are looking for leads in a possible animal cruelty case and need your help.

According to the sheriff's office, Coy Rohman, of Reidsville, reported that his 8-year-old cat, Toby, was shot and killed on January 25.

Investigators are asking anyone that was in the area of Cook Florist Road in Reidsville on that day to contact Detective Lori Pegram at 336-634-3232 or call the Rockingham County Crime Stoppers at 336-349-9683.
