Mississippi: James West accused of killing dog with bow and arrow arrested

MISSISSIPPI -- Monroe County Sheriff’s Department have made an arrest in connection with the killing of a dog with a bow and arrow.  

James Bradly West, 34, of Fulton has been charged with Animal Cruelty.

On January 17, 2015 Monroe County Sheriff’s Department received a report from Amory Humane Society that a dog had been found at Hwy 6 and Hwy 371. The dog appeared to have died from being shot with a bow and arrow.

West has currently bonded out on the Animal Cruelty charge at Monroe County Detention Center.

The charge Animal Cruelty is a misdemeanor charge. The bond amount for this charge is $1,187.75.
