Rock Hill owner cited in deadly pit bull attack on other dog

PENNSYLVANIA -- A Rock Hill man was cited for “dog at large” after his pit bull fatally attacked and killed another dog on Friedheim Road Tuesday afternoon.

Roderick Stanley was cited after his pit pull attacked a pit bull owned by Donald Minor, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Stanley told police his dog got loose and attacked Minor’s dog while they were walking down the 300 block of Friedham Road about 4:30 p.m.

Stanley turned his dog over to York County Animal Control. Minor’s dog had fatal injuries so he signed the pet over the county and it was put down, according to the report.
