Dog daycare worker, Daniel Michael Bulzacchelli, accused of hurling his dog by the neck

OREGON -- An Oregon man was arrested on Monday after he allegedly hurled his dog by the neck at a skate park in Beaverton, reported Tuesday's KOIN News.

Witnesses told the authorities that 22-year-old Daniel Michael Bulzacchelli, who works at a Tigard doggie daycare center, picked up his dog by the neck and threw him approximately 15 feet through the air.

A witness, interviewed by a KOIN News reported, stated that the dog, a one-year-old blue heeler named "Blucifer," was limping after hitting the concrete. The man accused of hurting his own dog is reported to be an employee at a business which is focused on dogs...Buster and Lilly’s Doggie Daycare.

When questioned, Bulzacchelli offered a contrary explanation to the witness' recount of the situation, claiming that he had merely tossed his dog aside to protect him from being struck by a bicyclist.

Blucifer was taken to the Washington County Animal Shelter and Bulzacchelli was booked into the Washington County Jail.
