CALIFORNIA -- A bloodhound has a warm place to stay the night thanks to some Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies.
A Watsonville resident first found the dog tied up to a handrail for several hours outside the 4 Corners Market in town. Deputies were called out to the store to help him find a warm place to stay for the night.
The moment the Sheriff’s Office posted photos of the drooling dog on Facebook Friday morning, responses began pouring in. One person asked if he’s been scanned for a microchip, while another suggested deputizing him as Santa Cruz County’s newest detective.
If you recognize the dog, please contact Santa Cruz Animal Control at 831-454-7227.
