Healthy horse found shot to death in Yamhill Co.

OREGON -- A seemingly healthy horse was found shot to death by Bald Mountain near Gilbert Creek Road, the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office said.

The horse was found Wednesday near the entrance to the OHV area called Whip-Up Flats, officials said. The horse was killed by a single bullet and just left next to the road.


Investigators believe the horse was shot sometime between the night of April 19 and the morning of April 22.
