New Jersey: Yorkie named Rio attacked by neighbor's pit bull. Of course neighbor is nowhere to be found as the vet bills are expected to be more than $5,000

NEW JERSEY -- Our Rio, a 9-lb Yorkie was attacked by a neighbors Pit bull yesterday.

He is in ICU now at the emergency animal hospital in Fairfield and the bills are mounting up very quickly.

We've already had to pay $1500.00 and they estimate the next level of care to be approximately be another $4000.00 and that is without any surgical procedures. Thank you for helping Rio.

Our son, MarcAnthony was also attacked and was bitten on the hand. He was treated at the hosp and is doing ok aside from being very traumatized by the attack.
