Owner charged after Norfolk dog attack

VIRGINIA -- Norfolk humane officers have filed charges against the owner of three dogs that attacked four people Monday night.

Eugene Wilson was charged with a total of 12 offenses: three counts each of failure to pay city license tax, failure to vaccinate, maintaining a nuisance animal, and maintaining a dangerous animal.

Norfolk police say the three pit bull mixes bit two children and two adults in the 800 block of Johnstons Road. Two 11-year-old boys had to be treated at local hospitals for injuries received during the attack.

Police say all three dogs are currently under a 10-day quarantine at the Norfolk Animal Shelter.
