NEVADA -- A poodle saved his owner's life from a vicious dog attack Friday.
The owner of the poodle told News 3 two boxers attacked him as he was outside his home off of Bonanza Road and Marion Street.
The dogs bit the man's leg. As he struggled, his poodle went to help.
The boxers focused on the poodle and killed the pet in a vicious attack. The owner of the poodle says he's grateful for his poodle's heroics.
No charges are being filed. Animal control picked up one of the boxers which was not current on rabies vaccinations.
