Texas: Not just one ugly hag in the family: Mom took photo of cat-killer daughter Kristen Lindsey holding 'trophy kill'

WYOMING -- In Big Horn County, Wyoming, the parents of the Texas bow and arrow touting veterinarian, have also aroused the ire of animal advocates throughout the nation, reports the Greybull Standard.

Kristin Lindsey, DVM, who posed with a dead cat on her Facebook page - arrow through its head, and bragged how "awesome" she was as a veterinarian, has been paying the consequences of her actions; no criminal charges have been against her as of Friday afternoon.

In less than a week, Lindsey has been fired from her position as a veterinarian, and her license to practice may even be at stake. Kristen Lindsey has not made any public statements; her Facebook page has been deleted.

Did they really kill this poor cat and photograph it? If so,
Kristen and Becky Lindsey have blackened hearts and are soulless
creatures, destined to walk among the damned in the afterlife
Jack and Becky Lindsey have also been taken to task. The photo of Kristen holding the dead cat, was taken by her mother. Becky admitted to have taken the picture.

...Becky, the Big Horn County treasurer, has also been widely criticized online for the role that she played in the matter. The Lindseys were visiting Kristen when the cat was killed, and Becky stated under Kristen’s original post, when questions were raised about its authenticity, that she had taken the picture.

Animal advocates claimed Becky Lindsey approved of what her daughter has alleged to have done to the "feral" cat - which seems to have been a domestic pet, named Tiger, who lovingly belonged to an elderly neighbor.

In Becky's hometown, she has been the deputy county treasurer for the last 14 years. A petition to have her removed from the public office circulates throughout social media.

Felines and Friends of Wyoming, a group dedicated to helping all animals and encouraging the spay and neuter of all cats to control feline populations clarified their position on the death of Tiger on Friday:

Becky Lindsey is among Big Horn County’s longest tenured
department heads at the Big Horn County Commission.

"Like the entire world I am heartbroken over the death of Tiger. This is a sad day for everyone. There are people who will say "it is just a cat" but those same people would have a fit if someone did that to their dog or other pet. Not only was the photo horrible, the comments that followed were as well. It is quite clear that Tiger was not a feral cat. Felines and Friends doesn't believe in killing a cat just because it is "feral" anyway."

"Jack Lindsey has brought many a stray and abandoned kitten to us. The Lindseys have always appeared to love their pets. This is what makes it harder to believe. What ever led them to making a decision to kill Tiger is baffling. They obviously did not think about the horrific nature of the death and the impact it would have on the family of Tiger. It was a horrible and bad decision. A bad decision can change a lot of lives in just an instant. That was proven here. Let's not forget that the biggest victim in this was Tiger."

Since the death of Tiger, there have been no reported sightings of Kristen Lindsey.

  1. This piece of human excrement should never ever again be allowed to practice veterinary medicine, should be prosecuted for extreme felony animal cruelty, fined, sentenced to the maximum allowed by law, and serve that time in a PRISON. She is the most sickening example of a feral predator with no respect for life, and it's only a matter of time before she begins to "hunt" human targets. In addition, I wonder what kind of mother she has who is purportedly holding the camera depicting the neighbor's cat with an arrow through its head. There is a worldwide call for Karma to act. It can't come soon enough for me, and should visit both mother and daughter.

The ultimate insult is she has betrayed Oath of Veterinary Medicine. And this alone should be reason enough to revoke her license and prosecute her fully for the crime of murdering her neighbor's family pet.
