ARIZONA -- A Valley woman is lucky to be alive after being viciously attacked by a dog.
The attack happened last Friday. When police got there, they Tased the dog to try and get him to calm down after he bit one of the officers on the hand.
The dog has since been put down, but Linda Lloyd will live with the memories of the attack forever.
"I spent 20 minutes screaming at a pit bull," Linda said.
Linda's injuries are incredible and her story will give you chills.
"I was walking with my friend, former friend, across the drive, across her backyard," Linda said.
That's when Linda said her former friend's pit bull came up and started sniffing her.
"And then he was biting my ankle. He took a great big hunk of my ankle and I fell down. He bit me and he chewed on me and he didn't stop and it was like 20 minutes of screaming and carrying on.
And then he ate my ear, and then he pulled my hair," Linda said.
Linda's road to recovery will be long and painful
"I hurt all over. I'm really tired. I'm really worn out and so basically I'm just trying to get mended," Linda said.
That mending will be expensive.
"I'm a senior citizen. I'm 67 years old, I don't have any money."
If you'd like to help, you can contribute on Linda's gofundme page.
