NEW YORK -- Eric Napoli, 43, of Marl Road, Walker Valley, was arraigned and pleaded not guilty Monday before Judge Donald A. Williams to felony aggravated cruelty to animals.
Napoli was indicted in June by an Ulster County grand jury for aggravated cruelty to animals.
According to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, Napoli tied his neighbor's Husky to a tree on April 16, 2015, and killed it by shooting it twice with a shotgun. He then allegedly buried the animal in his yard.
