The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office announced Tuesday that a grand jury has indicted 55-year-old Monica Thors last month. She's charged with nine counts of animal cruelty.
Authorities say the Mullica Hill woman failed to provide necessary care to address health issues. The indictment says the neglect led to the death of four horses.
The indictment says the abuse occurred in 2013 and 2014.
Her attorney couldn't be reached for comment by the Courier-Post.
