Petition created to "save" dog that attacked and mauled seven goats to death. Apparently they don't think goats can feel terror and pain while being mauled to death by this dog.

NORTH CAROLINA -- Animal rights supporters created an online petition to save the life of a Chow.

Animal control says this dog is responsible for attacking goats at the county campgrounds in June.

Officials say the dog killed seven goats and injured others.

They caught the dog after the attacks and have kept her in quarantine. Officials plan to euthanize her on Monday.

Those supporting the dog have started a petition to see if a rescue would pull her from the shelter. At one point, the petition had over 1,000 signatures.

The dog was brought in to the shelter with puppies. They have been put up for adoption.

Petition can be found here.

Note: according to a post defending the dog, the dog owner has admitted that this dog has attacked, mauled and killed cats and chickens in the past. But I'm sure these people trying to "save" this dog don't think a cat's life is worth anything. And if they think a cat's life is nothing, they certainly don't give a you-know-what about a chicken's life.
