Bruceness Tatum and Raymond Williams suspected in dog fighting operation

FLORIDA -- Deputies arrested the owners of a dog that had to be euthanized earlier this month following injuries from a suspected dog fight.

The other dogs found at the Winter Garden home still have not been seized.

Investigators said Bruceness Tatum and Raymond Williams were supposed to be caring for the dog, but the animal was found with severe injuries and had to be put down.

A Sheriff’s Office report said there was evidence of potential dog fighting at the home.

Williams was given a citation when the investigation started.

A report from Orange County Animal Services said there were nine dogs being held in primitive cages at the home. Most of the dogs had fresh wounds.

The dogs were tethered to trees in the middle of a yard littered with junk, reports stated.

It’s still unclear if there are plans for Animal Control to take the dogs.

Tatum and Williams are facing charges of animal cruelty.
