The multi-level house on Autumn Lane in the Groesbeck neighborhood remains red-tagged, said Daniel Richards, code enforcement officer for Lansing Township.
"The goal is to remediate it and bring it back to a safe living environment so we can bring it up to compliance and I can remove the tag," Richards said.
Investigators removed 124 cats from the house on June 10. Some were already dead and most of the remainder were euthanized.
The home was being rented by Lannie Price and her daughter, Amanda Price, who face animal cruelty charges in connection with that incident. Both are undergoing court-ordered psychological evaluations. Richards said they were evicted from the house earlier this month.
