FLORIDA -- On August 26, 2015, Jeffry Allen Sipes was charged with several crimes including:

Arson 1st Deg Structure/Vehicle People Present (Bond $50,000)

Insurance Fraud <$20K (Bond $15,000)

Animal Cruelty-Misdemeanor-Torment Deprive Mutilate Kill  (Bond $5,000)

Fail to Control/Report Dangerous Fire (Bond $15,000)

Total bond: $85,000

Isn't it pathetic that the lowest bond amount was for the animal? His failure to report a 'dangerous fire' got him a $15,000 bond... but abusing a defenseless animal? A third of that.

His next court date is listed as October 1, 2015.
