TEXAS -- Wood County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Deputy Dustin Moffett was dispatched to a residence on CR 1885 in the Yantis area is response to a dog bite.
The victim stated she was bitten the previous evening by a black Lab while walking down the road. The woman further stated the dog was accompanied by two other large dogs.
The owner of the dog was instructed to place the dog into quarantine for a period of 10 days in accordance with state law.
The case remains open until notification has been received that the quarantine was completely successfully.
