AUSTRALIA -- An Upper Hunter woman has been ordered to pay over $3,000 and put on a two year good behaviour bond, after pleading guilty to animal cruelty charges.
Krystal Anne Bowman faced Muswellbrook Court this week after the RSPCA seized a male bull terrier crossbreed from a property in Tindale Street in May.
The dog was found in a severely emaciated condition, infested with fleas and worms.
The animal was seized and taken away for treatment.
In addition to the fine, the court has banned Bowman from owning animals for two years.
