According to a press release, the Odessa Police Department received a disturbing video yesterday showing 46-year-old Gilbert Madrid beating and choking a puppy until it vomits.
The crime happened in September at the 900 block of Pittsburgh.
Madrid was already in jail for a previous crime. When officers spoke with Madrid, he admitted to abusing the puppy.
He has been charged with "Cruelty to Animal Torturing".
