Richard Dylan Rathbone, 22, charged with animal cruelty

NORTH CAROLINA -- An Asheville man is accused of cruelty to animals.

Richard Dylan Rathbone, 22, of the first block of Davidson Drive, was charged Friday with the misdemeanor, according to warrants at the Buncombe County magistrate's office.


He is accused of intentionally injuring a terrier dog by throwing the dog out the door of its residence, according to the warrant.

Rathbone was being held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility with bond on this charge set at $1,000 secured.
