According to an investigation conducted by State Police from Sand Lake and the Stephentown animal control, officers revealed that 42-year-old Tricia Lee abandoned her dog when she moved from Stephentown to Averill Park.
A neighbor found the dog chained to a shed, and supplied food and water until animal control seized the dog.
Lee was later found to have an open arrest warrant on her from the Albany Police Department.
