Police: McCracken County Couple Facing Multiple Charges For Animal Abuse

KENTUCKY -- A McCracken County couple is facing animal abuse charges after authorities say they found fourteen dogs and puppies in what's described as terrible conditions.

McCracken County Animal Control says they took the dogs from the home of Destiny Elder and DeAntonio McGee last month.

An officers says one of the dogs was in such bad shape that he was able to touch it's bare skull.

The couple could also face charges if it's determined the dogs were used in dog fights.

Authorities say the dogs are now in much better shape and are currently housed in the McCracken County Humane Society.
