Georgia: Moronic grand jury believes Warwick Police Officer Thomas Frye who says his dead K9 partner opened the door to his vehicle, got inside, shut the door and then stayed inside for several days, tearing the interior of the vehicle apart before finally dying.

GEORGIA -- The Worth County Grand Jury has decided not to indict Warwick Police Officer Thomas Frye, whose police dog, Sasha, died inside his police vehicle in September 2012.

The Grand Jury returned a "no bill" response after considering and voting on the indictment of Frye.

The Worth County group was given the option of indicting Frye with misdemeanor cruelty to animals. Evidence in the case was presented by an agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

A Grand Jury is required to return a "true bill" before prosecutors can move forward with legal action against those accused.

An investigation by the GBI did reveal that the police dog died inside Frye's vehicle. She was there for several days and clearly struggled to try to get out.

Looking inside this SUV, it's clear what Warwick K9 officer Sasha went through to try to get out. "It really makes me sick..it makes me sick to my stomach," said Worth County Animal Control Officer Sherri Hendley.

Sasha's handler Lieutenant Thomas Frye told Chief Morris he was about to head to work Monday, September 3rd when he discovered his partner dead inside his car. He claims Sasha must of let herself in his SUV when he was away for the weekend.

Instead of calling his supervisors, he called in a city worker to help remove the dogs bloated decomposed body. He buried the dog then went to work.

He waited almost TWO WEEKS before he bothered to tell anyone about Sasha -- um where were his supervisors? Why weren't they asking him, "Where's your K9 partner that you take everywhere with you???" -- and after he had spent TWO WEEKS TRYING TO THINK OF A LIE ABOUT HOW HE KILLED HER -- he did notify them about killing her, he immediately resigned (POS officers like Thomas Frye resign, rather than waiting to be fired, so they can still get their police officer pensions). Sasha had to be dug up, her body rotting and bloated, to be taken for a necropsy.

SO FRYE KILLS HIS K9 PARTNER, DESTROYS EVIDENCE, WAITS TWO WEEKS TO COME UP WITH A LIE ABOUT HOW THE DOG OPENED THE DOOR, CLIMBED INSIDE, SHUT THE DOOR AND 'KILLED HERSELF'...

Sasha tore the vehicle's interior apart trying to escape

Friday, Hendley was told she needed to investigate the death, nearly two weeks after Sasha died in the SUV. "It would have been easier on the investigation if we could have seen the dogs body and to see the vehicle before anything was cleaned," she said.

Frye's defense is that the dog OPENED THE DOOR CLIMBED INSIDE AND SHUT HERSELF INTO THE VEHICLE.

Interviews with independent witnesses also revealed that the dog's ability to open vehicle doors was common to those that knew it.

DID THE DOG KNOW HOW TO CLOSE THE DOOR TO THE VEHICLE TOO?!

RIP Sasha

AND WHERE WAS THIS IDIOT THOMAS FRYE DURING THE "SEVERAL DAYS" IT TOOK FOR SASHA TO DIE IN THE VEHICLE? WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF HER IF HE WAS OUT OF TOWN "FOR A COUPLE DAYS"? WHY DIDN'T ANYONE NOTICE FOR "SEVERAL DAYS" WHERE SHE WAS???!

The Worth County Grand Jury concluded their meeting on September 4.

Before coming to Warwick, Sasha worked as a K-9 officer in Miami, Florida. She was retired due to her fear of thunder.
