NORTH CAROLINA -- When Gabby Lagdon had to come to work, there was one problem: her rear wheel drive truck always gets stuck in the snow.
"With the ground wet, the back wheels will just sit there and spin and you can't go anywhere," she said.
So, Lagdon decided to ride her horse Rascal.
"What better way to get to work than to ride my horse? Get him out, get him some exercise. And enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way," she said. "You can't predict the weather. So you might as well just go with it."
Lagdon's only problem for her seven mile ride in North Carolina? No headlights. So she had to leave work early before it got dark.
"People love it. I've gotten a lot of smiles, a lot of thumbs up. It kinda takes them back to the wild wild west I guess."
Lagdon's glad she had enough horsepower to get her there.
