Oregon: Alice Taylor, accused of letting dogs die in car, pleads guilty

OREGON -- An Eagle Point woman who let three dogs die in a hot car in Chiloquin has been sentenced to 15 days in jail, and a year and a half of probation.

Alice Violet Taylor, 67, pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of first degree animal abuse.

Taylor was arrested in June of 2014 after her three Rottweilers died after being left in her locked truck outside of a Chiloquin restaurant.

As part of a negotiated agreement, Taylor will not be allowed to own any domestic animals for 5 years.

Patti Breidenthal - Thank you for all of your comments, but it does not help me. I am the breeder of two of the puppies. Their names were Hachi and Bronson. They were real and two of my favorites. Two to three weeks after she killed them, she called me and asked if I had any more rottweilers or if knew of where I could get some for her to have. She still owes me $1,100 dollars on one of the puppies that she killed. I am sorry, I do not believe that this is love.
