Pennsylvania: Faun Dillon, 60, accused of neglecting five horses. Two of the horses ended up dying.

PENNSYLVANIA -- A woman is accused of animal cruelty for allegedly abusing and neglecting five horses, ultimately resulting in the death of two horses.

Faun Dillon, 60, is accused of depriving five horses of food and water and housing them in poor conditions. Pennsylvania State Police say 2 of the 5 horses died as a result of the alleged abuse and neglect, which took place from late November to late January.

Officers from the Humane Society of Westmoreland County went to the Derry Township farm to try to save the horses in early January. One of the horses had reportedly already died at that point. The remaining four horses were taken to the Second Chance Equine facility in Norvelt.
