West Virginia: Noah Flora, 27, accused of choking dog, charged with animal cruelty

WEST VIRGINIA -- West Virginia State Police have arrested a man in connection to a recording of a man appearing to choke a dog with his hands, according to a criminal complaint.

Noah Alexander Flora, 27, of Huntington, was arrested Friday night and charged with one count of felony animal cruelty.

This arrest came after a man was seen on video placing both hands around a pit bull’s neck, picking the dog up and appearing to torture it, according to a criminal complaint from Cabell County Magistrate Court.

Flora was arrested Friday night at home and transported to the Western Regional Jail with a $15,000 bond. He bonded out Saturday.

Animal control took three pit pulls into custody.
