TEXAS -- A North Richland Hills police officer is being credited with saving a pig from a busy intersection Monday night.
The North Richland Hills Police department posted about the heroic efforts on Twitter and Facebook.
Officer Rich braved the traffic at the intersection of Boulevard 26 and Eastbound Loop 820 to save the pig.
The runaway pig is at the city animal shelter -- where presumably, if the owner is not found, the pig will be up for adoption just like the pig in Saginaw last month.
