Kentucky: Marcus Gray, 31, arrested for shooting puppies, killing one and injuring the other

KENTUCKY -- A Hopkinsville man is facing animal cruelty charges for allegedly shooting two puppies.

Hopkinsville Police say 31-year old Marcus Boyd Gray shot two six-month old puppies with 20-gauge turkey shot shells back on April 20th.

One puppy named "Roxy" was shot three times and died. Another puppy was shot once and was injured.

Witnesses told police that neither puppy was aggressive or attacking Gray when he shot them.

Gray was arrested Sunday morning.
