Missouri: North County Man May Have Been Killed By Own Pit Bull

MISSOURI -- An autopsy will be performed to find the cause of death of a north St. Louis County man found lifeless inside his home, Monday morning, while his two pit bull dogs roamed the house.

St. Louis County police say family members of the 45-year-old male made the discovery and called investigators to the 2200 block of Redman Road.

The man had bite marks on his body, and one of the two dogs was behaving aggressively.

Police say animal control officers euthanized that animal and removed the other from the scene.

The name of the victim is expected to be released on Tuesday.
