Ohio: Girard man John Giordano, 51, gets probation after being caught on video beating his dog

OHIO -- John Giordano was convicted on 5/26 of animal cruelty, and appeared to be in denial about what was caught on tape.

"I don't know why everybody is freaking out over a few seconds of video that had nothing to do with what everybody thinks. I didn't do any of that, I would never hurt that dog," Giordano said.

Judge Adler handed down a 90 day suspended jail sentence to Giordano, fined him $750, and put him on probation for one year.
