Pennsylvania: Philip Price, charged with animal cruelty in Rhode Island in 2015, pleads not guilty to animal cruelty charges in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA -- The Rhode Island man accused of leaving a horse wounded and covered in paint in Lancaster County had pled not guilty to animal cruelty charges.

Philip Price will have a trial next month on the summary offenses.

The Lancaster County SPCA said the horse was hit more than 120 times with a paintball gun, which blinded the horse's right eye.

Surgery has since been performed to remove the eye.

The horse, named Lily, is still at a horse rehab in Chester County and is to be doing very well.

Note: Philip Price, a known horse trader, was charged with animal cruelty in Rhode Island in 2015.
