"Basically, nothing has happened, nothing has happened to prevent another attack," said Scott Flagg, who owns the cat that died Wednesday evening.
The Flaggs' calls to 3-1-1 and Animal Care Services have not sparked an investigation. The Flaggs filled out an animal bite report, but ACS told News 4 that's not the correct form.
Animal Control has done nothing about the pit bull that attacked, mauled and killed this poor cat |
Jessica Travis, ACS field supervisor, said the couple needs to launch a dangerous dog investigation.
"The best way to get that started is to come down to ACS, fill out your affidavit, your sworn statement, and we'll get an investigation started," Travis said.
God forbid, Animal control do an investigation on their own accord.
In the meantime, Courtney Flagg says she's keeping her kids from playing outside.
"Honestly, all it takes is a second for an animal like that to start coming toward your children, and there's nothing you can do to stop it."
