United Kingdom: Firefighters save two cats from apartment which had had smoke alarms disabled

UNITED KINGDOM -- From the West Midlands Fire Service Facebook page:

The two cats we rescued from this eight floor flat fire earlier today have definitely used some of their nine lives!

 

 

It was an extremely lucky escape for them, especially as the smoke alarms had been removed.

* Update from Kings Heath Cat Club: Chaz and Felicity are now home from vets and doing well.
