WISCONSIN -- Authorities in Rock County have arrested two people in connection with 12 puppies being seized from a house in Janesville last month.
Deputies with the Rock County Sheriff's Office arrested Chad Mukina, 32, and Felicia Tousey, 21, on Thursday morning after authorities searched the house at 4815 W US Highway 14 in Janesville on June 29th.
Mukina and Tousey are facing a felony charge of Mistreating Animals and two misdemeanor charges of Failure to Provide Adequate Water and Operating as a Dog Dealer without a License.
Authorities took 12 mixed breed puppies, who are all estimated to be under 10 weeks old, from the house on June 29th. The puppies are currently receiving medical attention at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
The case is still under investigation.
