Brown County, Washington doesn't care about animals. Why else would they keep letting Leonard Sollie and Karla Sollie abuse animals?

WASHINGTON -- A Mina husband and wife accused of keeping dogs in deplorable conditions have pleaded no contest to an animal neglect conspiracy charge.

anything about animal abusers. Do they not care that
animals are suffering and dying because of them?

The American News reports that Leonard Sollie, 66, and Karla Sollie, 68, on Tuesday each was given a suspended 30-day jail sentence and fined $566.

Officials with the Aberdeen Area Humane Society and sheriff’s deputies in February rescued 15 small dogs from an unoccupied rural house.

Authorities say the dogs had suffered from years of neglect.

The Sollies say they were trying to care for dogs abandoned on their property.

Oh yeah, people abandon PUREBRED SHIH-TZUs all the time! Were the ones they abused and killed back in 2007 "abandoned on their property" as well??

The couple faced similar charges in 2007.

In June 2007, the law enforcement raided their property and seized 29 dogs. Kayla Beard of the Aberdeen Area Humane Society said the dogs were malnourished and covered with ticks and fleas when they were taken into custody. She said the dogs also had dirty kennels. One of the dogs was so sick it had to be euthanized.

In 2009 they entered Alford pleas, meaning they didn’t admit guilt but acknowledged there was enough evidence to convict them.
