MAINE -- Found this posted on Facebook. This poor little dog was attacked by a loose pit bull while standing in their own yard. The dog, named Chico, was taken to the vet for his injuries and he had to get staples (stitches) to close his wounds. The owner was also bitten by the pit bull while trying to save Chico.
A neighbor told her that this dog has done this before. Is Animal Control going to do something about it? Doubtful since, when you read her posts, she can't even get them to respond to the attack to do the report - and the dog is still at its house rather than being in quarantine.
