Massachusetts: Ashland police officers rescue dog from burning home

MASSACHUSETTS -- Two Ashland police officers are being praised for rescuing a dog from a burning home Sunday.

Sgt. Greg Fawkes and Ofc. Ryan Puzzo went with the Ashland Fire Department to a house fire and crawled into the home to rescue the family dog.

 

While Fawkes and Puzzo got the dog out, firefighters went to work on the flames and had it quickly put out.

According to police, no one was injured and the response to the fire was a successful.
