"These dogs are dangerous and need to be found! One dog had white with black patches and the other was white and brown.
"The owners showed absolutely no remorse or care for what has happened and left leaving my Dad shaken and out of breath on the floor after defending his dogs. In the end he had to let them off the leader to run and hide when the second pit bull tried to attack.
"If any of you know a large lady with long black hair, maybe in her 30's, who was with an older slim man, maybe in his 60's, please PM me or inform the police as this crime has been reported. They need to take responsibility for their animals.
"This has left my Dad severely shaken up, which isn't like him at all. Our dog also isn't in a good way and was already of a nervous and shy nature before this incident.
"Please please share with anyone in the Darlington area who can help find these owners before it happens to another dog, person or child. ?? Thank you."
