New York: While walking her Jack Russell she'd adopted from a rescue, loose pit bull attacks him

NEW YORK -- "Poor Buddy is finally up & moving around after being viciously attacked by a loose large pit bull while we were taking a walk a few days ago. Buddy was absolutely traumatized. He has some bruising and swelling and has a gash on his neck that we're treating. I felt so helpless-the dog was as big as I am. There is nothing worse than watching your pet suffer like that and not being able to make it stop.'
