Ohio: Court documents say George Pazos forced a woman into sex act with dog

OHIO -- Among the accusations against 49-year-old George Pazos was that he raped a woman and forced her to “perform fellatio on his dog,” court documents say.

Pazos will be sentenced next month in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated assault. As part of the plea, he is expected to be sentenced to two years in prison. He had faced up to 22 years.

Pazos hired the woman to “engage in sexual intercourse for pay,” the documents say. The incident happened Jan. 1, in Clifton Heights. The encounter turned violent, the documents say, and Pazos "continually threatened" the woman, tying her up before raping her and forcing her to perform the sex act on his dog.

Pazos’ attorney, James Bogen, said the woman’s account of what happened changed at least once. Bogen noted that few, if any, rape cases are resolved with plea deals that don't require a defendant to register as a sex offender.

“Obviously, the accusations were very disturbing,” Bogen said. “At the same time, we felt we had a strong defense to them.”

But, he added, "juries can be unpredictable."
